What's new in PowerWF for Operations Manager V2.5?
PowerWF for Operations Manager Features
Although Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is designed to provide end-to-end service management, it is only as good as the data it collects. Systems that don’t report metrics to SCOM are blind spots in your IT infrastructure management that can lead to downtime. Microsoft and ISV’s provide SCOM management packs for well known applications, but if your application is home-grown, lacks market share, or existing management packs are insufficient, there were few options. Before PowerWF, building custom management packs was costly and error prone; it required a deep knowledge of the application, Windows Management Instrumentation, SCOM data and process models. PowerWF greatly simplifies this process:
Ease of Use
PowerWF lets you think about WHAT you want to accomplish instead of thinking about HOW to accomplish it. Simply drag-and-drop the desired activities to create a workflow that represents your process and business logic.
