Ribbon control is very nice and purchased this as an individual component a few months ago.

However, I then upgraded to EntrySet Suite, primarily for the LightGrid component which provides very good visual indicators e.g. flags, progress bars etc etc

This is not a finished control, having used the control I am having problems with refreshing data e.g. first time control loads 5000 records within 5 seconds, when you do a databind again it takes 3 minutes or hangs. There are numerous complaints on the knowledge base , their suggestion is to delete the columns before updating, this takes just as long.

Their tech support now say this problem is fixed in the next version, my advise to anyone is wait for next version and download trial before buying and make sure you try it with good volumes of data, as I thought my trial had gone well but I failed to try it with over 100 records

The shame in all of this is that the controlls both now and historically are very tidy and provide a real quality feel to applications, but this is a real case of looks can be deceiving, as the performance of the current build is rubbish
