IBM Rational Team Concert Developer for Workgroups 3.0 - Authorized User Licenses
with support from ComponentSource (OEM License not Passport Advantage)  

Our prices include ComponentSource technical support and, for most downloadable products, an online backup and a FREE upgrade to the new version if it is released within 30 days of your purchase.  All sales are made on our standard Terms and Conditions and subject to our Return Policy. Please contact us if you require any licensing option not listed above including volume licensing and previous versions.

Licensing

One software license is required per developer.
IBM Rational Team Concert sits on a Jazz Team Server and you need an Authorized User License (Client License) for every person accessing it. There is no separately priced Server License as the price of the Server is included in the Client Licenses.

Authorized User license:
An IBM Rational Authorized User license allows a single, specific individual to use an IBM Rational product. Purchasers must obtain an Authorized User license for each individual user accessing the product in any manner. An Authorized User license may not be reassigned unless the purchaser is replacing the original assignee on a long-term or permanent basis.

For example, if you purchase one Authorized User license, you may assign that license to one specific individual, who may then use the IBM Rational product. The Authorized User license does not entitle a second person to use that product at any time, even if the licensed individual is not actively using it.

Indefinite use of software (A Perpetual License) - "License + SW Subscription and Support 12 Months"
The "License + Software Subscription and Support 12 Months" license grants the right to:

• indefinitely use the specific version/release of the software obtained
• receive Software Subscription and Support (previously referred to as Software Maintenance) for a period of 12 months.
• While in effect, Software Subscription and Support authorizes Licensee to use the most current commercially available version, release, or update, should any be made available as well as receive support for the Program.

SW Subscription and Support Renewal Licenses
At the end of each period of coverage, Software Subscription and Support is renewable for another 12 months (at the prevailing price), referred to as "Annual Software Subscription and Support Renewal 12 Months". If Software Subscription and Support is not renewed, Licensee will no longer receive the benefits of Software Subscription and Support, but Licensee may still use the software according to the license agreement. Please note that the SW Subscription and Support Renewal licenses are intended for customers who purchased the "Indefinite use of software" license from ComponentSource. If you purchased under Passport Advantage you would need to renew your licenses within Passport Advantage.

Developer for Workgroups license
Designed for professional developers actively participating in the project. A user that has been assigned a Developer for Workgroups license has full read and write access to Change Management, Report Customization, Planning, Software Configuration Management, and Automation (Build System) capabilities unless otherwise restricted by role-based process permissions. The Developer for Workgroups License does not include support for Distributed SCM (Software Configuration Management) or Host system development and is limited to 50 authorized users per server or server group.

ComponentSource – Authorised OEM Partner for IBM Rational Software - RTC Developer for Workgroups
ComponentSource is an Authorised OEM Partner for Rational Software products under our IBM OEM Software Agreement Number 180845-7437984. This agreement allows you to buy a license for Rational Software products from us and receive first & second line support directly from ComponentSource, with third line support being provided by IBM experts to you, through us. first line support allows you to log an issue with us and get your basic product installation working. second line support helps you with more complex issues that we replicate here and solve for you with “known work-arounds” or software patches that are available to us as an Authorised IBM OEM Partner. third line support enables us to escalate second line issues that we cannot resolve directly to IBM product experts in the USA, Europe or Asia/Pac and they help us to solve the problem. ComponentSource will also be your main point of contact to get updates to any Rational Software products should you need them to fix an issue that arises, provided that you have purchased annual product maintenance from us.

Country Exclusions
ComponentSource is unable to supply products under our IBM OEM Software Agreement for End Users located in the following countries in the Middle East: Adu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar & Saudi Arabia and in Central America & the Caribbean: Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua & Panama.
