Resco MobileApp Developer Pack by Resco

Suite of advanced controls and tools for building mobile applications. Resco MobileApp Developer Pack is a suite of all Resco developer controls, libraries, tools and sample projects that help you develop professional mobile applications for Microsoft Windows Mobile platforms. All products are integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Resco MobileApp Developer Pack consists of two parts, Visual Studio controls and Enterprise samples.

Visual Studio Controls

The following Visual Studio controls are included in Resco MobileApp Developer Pack: Resco AdvancedList .NET, Resco AdvancedTree.NET, Resco DetailView .NET, Resco SmartGrid .NET, Resco OutlookControls .NET, Resco Zip.

RescoAdvancedList .NET

This efficient replacement for the ListView control is suitable specifically for mobile devices. It allows you to display data in a list while each row of the list can be displayed differently, depending on the nature of data.

RescoAdvancedTree .NET

The AdvancedTree.NET control is an efficient replacement for the TreeView control which allows you to display your data in an advanced way. It is designed and created for Windows Mobile platform. Data is organized in the form of a tree which nodes can be expanded or collapsed. All the data is displayed in such a way that only a vertical scroll bar is needed. Each row of the list is displayed using a NodeTemplate, containing Cells, which can be freely positioned within the NodeTemplate area. The selected row can use a different NodeTemplate for displaying the data, and cells can be represented as a formatted Text, Image, or Hyperlink.

Resco DetailView .NET

This UI control provides an elegant and time saving way of creating user input forms. It supports all standard simple input controls, such as TextBox, ComboBox, etc. while providing a consistent look and feel, making the form look similar to standard mobile PIM applications.

Resco CompactChart .NET

Supports five chart types: Pie, Bar, Line, Doughnut and Area chart. The control has a comprehensive Visual Studio Designer support and its run-time layout is optimized for small displays of mobile devices, using features such as tap-and-hold tooltips to save space on mobile forms.

Resco SmartGrid .NET

This easy to use Grid control supporting advanced graphics and data binding capabilities has been designed specifically for mobile devices. It allows you to display many kinds of data in a fast, colorful grid containing different images and cell styles.

Resco OutlookControls .NET

A collection of popular UI controls such as OutlookMonthCalendar, OutlookShortcutBar, OutlookDateTimePicker and InkBox in one library.

Resco Zip .NET

Resco Zip .NET is optimized for .NET Compact Framework, so you can add industry standard compression functionality also to your mobile applications targeting different Windows Mobile platforms such as Pocket PC, Smartphone, etc.

EnterpriseSamples

The following Enterprise samples are included in Resco MobileApp Developer Pack: Resco MobileSales Enterprise sample, Resco MobileSales Enterprise sample optimized for Symbol MC70, Resco MobileContacts Enterprise sample and Resco MobileSurvey Enterprise sample.

Resco MobileSales Enterprise Sample

A .NET Compact Framework sample application that demonstrates the power and usability of MobileForms Toolkit controls. The application is a Sales Force Automation (SFA) solution designed into easy-to-comprehend classes. The data is stored in mobile SQL CE database. The whole sample is implemented in Visual Basic .NET. The well-commented source code is also distributed.

Resco MobileContacts Enterprise Sample

Resco MobileContacts is a C# .NET Enterprise Sample demonstrating how to integrate Outlook Contacts into your mobile applications. Since the MobileContacts Enterprise Sample is provided with the source code, there is possibility to do also significant customizations.

Resco MobileSurvey Enterprise Sample includes:

MobileSurvey Manager - a desktop application allowing the user to design surveys

MobileSurvey Client - a mobile application, allowing the mobile user to fill-in a survey using a Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone device

MobileSurvey WebService - performs the data synchronization

Resco MobileSurvey Enterprise sample is written in C# .NET source code, which is also included.
