SecureBlackbox (ActiveX edition) is a comprehensive component collection for network and document security.

SecureBlackbox is split to several packages:

• SSLBlackbox - client and server components that provide complete support for SSL2, SSL3 and TLS1.x.
• FTPSBlackbox - transfer files securely using FTP (RFC 959) and FTP-over-SSL (also known as FTPS, FTP/SSL, as defined in RFC 2228) protocols.
• HTTPBlackbox - access web sites via HTTP and HTTPS protocols with Gzip compression.
• SFTPBlackbox - securely transfer files and perform remote file system operations using SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol, Secure File Transfer Protocol).
• SSHBlackbox - access remote SSH servers using SSH2 or SSH1 protocols or build your own SSH server.
• OpenPGPBlackbox - encrypt and sign files using OpenPGP algorithms and standards, generate and manage OpenPGP keys and keyrings. Compatible with PGP product line by PGP Corporation.
• ZIPBlackbox - compress data with strong encryption.
• PKIBlackbox - generate and manage certificates, certificate revocation lists, certificate requests. Complete support for Public Key Infrastructure including Windows Certificate Storages and cryptographic hardware.
• MIMEBlackbox - compose and parse MIME messages with optional S/MIME or PGP/MIME security extensions.
• MailBlackbox - Send and receive e-mail using SMTP and POP3 protocols. Compose and parse RFC822, MIME, S/MIME and PGP/MIME messages.
• LDAPBlackbox - Provides components to access certificate storages and PGP key storages via LDAP protocol. Also provides LDAP access to Certificate Revocation lists (CRLs).

Your data can be sored or transferred in encrypted form. SecureBlackbox supports OpenPGP -- one of the most popular encryption and signing standards. You can extend your application with security functions such as signing, encryption, decryption and data verification using OpenPGP keys.

Encrypt and sign documents in PDF and XML formats
With SecureBlackbox you can extend your XML processing applications with XML-compliant password-based, certificate-based and OpenPGP-based encryption, signing and timestamping. Perform processing of your XML documents according to XMLEnc, XMLDSig and XAdES specifications. Add password-based and certificate-based encryption, certificate-based signing, timestamping and compression to your PDF documents.

Encrypt and sign office documents

Create and parse MIME-compliant mail with security extensions

Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), manage X.509 certificates and storages
SecureBlackbox lets you add PKI functionality to your application. This includes certificate management, signing, encryption, timestamping, signing of executables. You can also build server-side functions for timestamping and online certificate status validation into your applications. SecureBlackbox allows you to use the latest encryption algorithms such as Elliptic Curve Cryptography - a functionality unavailable in other encryption packages.

What is a package?
SecureBlackbox includes a number of components that help you solve various digital security tasks. A package in SecureBlackbox is a group of components, which are used for the one or several similar functions. For example, PKIBlackbox package includes components to work with X.509 certificates, certificate storages etc.

Some packages include one or several other packages. For example, XMLBlackbox includes components for XML security and also includes PGPBlackbox package, which provides components for OpenPGP standard.

There also exist several large packages, each including several individual packages. They are Professional, Standard, Transports and Data Security.

How are packages licensed?
Each package can be licensed separately. For example, you can purchase a license for SSLBlackbox client-only package, when you need only HTTP(S) or FTP(S) client component. Large packages (Professional, Standard, Transports and Data Security) offer a cost-effective way to get the license for many functions at a very moderate cost.

• OpenPGPBlackbox - provides support for OpenPGP infrastructure including OpenPGP key management, data signing/encryption using OpenPGP keys etc
