XMLBlackbox package of SecureBlackbox

With XMLBlackbox you can extend your XML processing applications with outstanding security features, such as XML-compliant password-based, certificate-based and OpenPGP-based encryption, certificate-based and OpenPGP-based signing and timestamping of your XML documents or any generic data.

XMLBlackbox can encrypt or sign and timestamp valid XML document or any data and perform processing according to XMLEnc, XMLDSig and XAdES specifications.

XMLBlackbox supports on-demand data loading and parsing, so processing large documents does not require large amount of resources.

XMLBlackbox includes built-in XML DOM processor with charset support and does not use third-party libraries.

As the main function of XMLBlackbox is to sign and encrypt XML documents using X.509 certificates and OpenPGP keys, it includes base functions of PKIBlackbox for certificate management and OpenPGPBlackbox for OpenPGP key management.

XMLBlackbox is offered as an individual package and as a part of Professional and Data Security packages.

XMLBlackbox .NET Feature List:
XML security features, supported by XMLBlackbox are:

• encryption and decryption of XML documents, document parts or generic data using XML Encryption Syntax and Processing standard;
• digital signing and signature verification of XML documents and their parts using XML-Signature Syntax and Processing standard;
• timestamping of digital signatures using XAdES;
• XML-compliant signing / verification and encryption / decryption of both XML-formatted documents, individual XML nodes or generic data;
• securing of the data using RSA keys, X.509 certificates and OpenPGP keys;
• detached, enveloping, enveloped signature types (signing and HMAC are supported);
• simple, inclusive and exclusive canonicalization with our without comments;

OpenPGP standard is used by XMLBlackbox for operations, which use OpenPGP keys, and is provided by OpenPGPBlackbox, which is included with XMLBlackbox.

PKI Infrastructure is used by XMLBlackbox for certificate-based operations. Base functions of PKIBlackbox are included with XMLBlackbox.

Available editions
XMLBlackbox is available in several editions for various software platforms.

.NET edition. This edition of XMLBlackbox includes pure managed components, carefully optimized to achieve maximum performance, comparable to native processor code.
.NET edition requires .NET Framework 4.0, .NET Framework 3.5, .NET Framework 3.0, .NET Framework 2.0, .NET Framework 1.1, Silverlight 4, Silverlight 3, Mono 2.0, Mono 1.0, .NET CF (Compact Framework) 3.5, .NET CF 2.0, .NET CF 1.0.
.NET edition can be used on ASP.NET server systems, Windows desktop systems, Windows Mobile PDAs, Silverlight-enabled browsers, on Linux and MacOS X systems with Mono installed.

VCL edition. Blazingly fast native Delphi (Pascal) components for building native Windows and Linux applications. Usable with Delphi, C++ Builder or FreePascal (Win32 or x64, Linux/x86 or Linux/x64).
VCL edition works on any computer with Windows 98 and later or with Linux kernel 2.4 and later.

Support requests from customers with Priority support are served ahead of requests from regular customers and evaluation version users.
