ZIPBlackbox package of SecureBlackbox
With ZIPBlackbox you can complete your applications with compression and decompression of ZIP archives, with optional strong (AES256) encryption and certificate-based decryption and signature verification.

ZIPBlackbox supports temporary streams in memory or on the disk, so processing large files does not require large amount of resources.

ZIPBlackbox includes built-in ZIP encoder / decoder and does not use third-party libraries.

As one of the main functions of ZIPBlackbox is to decrypt and verify secured ZIP archives using X.509 certificates, it includes base functions of PKIBlackbox for certificate management.

ZIPBlackbox is offered as an individual package and as a part of Professional, Standard and Data Security packages.

Feature list

ZIP compression and decompression features, supported by ZIPBlackbox are:

• Creation of ZIP archives;
• Modification (add or delete files) of ZIP archives;
• Support for ZIP64 archives with files larger than 4Gb;
• Compression using Deflate and Store compression algorithms;
• Traditional ZIP encryption and strong WinZIP-compatible AES encryption (AES128, AES192, AES256);
• Support for PKWare strong encryption specification using DES, 3DES, RC2, Blowfish and Twofish algorithms;
• Decryption of ZIP archives, encrypted using PKI-based encryption and X.509 certificates;
• Verification of ZIP archives signed using PKI-based digital signing and X.509 certificates;
• support for Cryptocards and USB Crypto Tokens;

PKI Infrastructure is used by ZIPBlackbox for certificate-based operations. Base functions of PKIBlackbox are included with ZIPBlackbox.

Available editions
ZIPBlackbox is available in several editions for various software platforms.

.NET edition. This edition of ZIPBlackbox includes pure managed components, carefully optimized to achieve maximum performance, comparable to native processor code.
.NET edition requires .NET Framework 4.0, .NET Framework 3.5, .NET Framework 3.0, .NET Framework 2.0, .NET Framework 1.1, Silverlight 4, Silverlight 3, Mono 2.0, Mono 1.0, .NET CF (Compact Framework) 3.5, .NET CF 2.0, .NET CF 1.0.
.NET edition can be used on ASP.NET server systems, Windows desktop systems, Windows Mobile PDAs, Silverlight-enabled browsers, on Linux and MacOS X systems with Mono installed.

VCL edition. Blazingly fast native Delphi (Pascal) components for building native Windows and Linux applications. Usable with Delphi, C++ Builder or FreePascal (Win32 or x64, Linux/x86 or Linux/x64).
VCL edition works on any computer with Windows 98 and later or with Linux kernel 2.4 and later.

Support requests from customers with Priority support are served ahead of requests from regular customers and evaluation version users.
