VantagePoint Maps is a WPF control intended for use by software developers and designers using .NET 3.5 as the platform for their software applications. Built on top of the .NEt 3.5 Framework, VantagePoint Maps allows you to utilize the newest features available in .NET. VantagePoint Maps has a set of registered dependency properties that allow you to modify every property available to the control.Properties such as background color, borders, highlight colors, highlight background colors, and many more, can be changed to perfectly match any current color theme, look or feel to complement your application.

VantagePoint Maps is designed using WPF with C# as the code-behind. WPF allows for the control to be sized in an infinite range while still maintaining a sharp, crisp look in addition to preventing the control from creating a lot of overhead in your application. Since C# was originally created in 2001 as part of the .NET initiative, it allows for a close working relationship between WPF, the code-behind and .NET resulting in a lightweight, fast and efficient control.
