VantagePoint Silverlight Controls is a suite of user-interface components designed for use by software developers and designers using .NET 3.5 as the platform for their software products. Much like their WPF counterparts, VantagePoint Silverlight Controls are built on top of the .NET 3.5 Framework allowing you to utilize the newest features available in .NET. Each control is designed using the same codebase as the WPF controls suite (with C# as the code-behind) and allows you to modify every property available to the control.

VantagePoint Silverlight Controls are XAML-based so all of the controls are rendered in vector based format. This allows the controls to be sized in an infinite size range while still maintaining a sharp, crisp look. Targeting the silverlight platform, VantagePoint Silverlight Controls allow you to deploy your web applications across multiple platforms to reach a wider user group. Each Silverlight control has the same number of customizable dependency properties as the VantagePoint WPF Controls. These properties allow the controls look to be customized to any desired look, corporate to radical, just use your imagination.

• Each control is scalable and can be resized at design or runtime
• Each control has been thoroughly tested for compatibility with Visual Studio 2008, Expression Blend and all of Mobiformms design products
• Many of the controls include a Glare Brush property which can be used to give the appearance of having a glass face on the control
• Many controls have a feature that will disable the control when there is an invalid binding or an out-of-range value

VantagePoint Controls for Silverlight are derived from the same codebase and API as VantagePoint WPF Controls allowing for the identical look and feel for both your Windows and Silverlight applications.
