VantagePoint WPF Controls is a suite of user interface controls designed for use by software developers and designers using Microsoft .NET 3.5 as the platform for their software products. Built on top of the .NET 3.5 framework, VantagePoint allows you to utilize the newest features available in .NET.

Each control has a vast set of registered dependency properties that allow you to modify every property that the control has. Properties such as background color, size, margins, font sizing, and much more, can be changed to perfectly match any current color theme, look, or feel that your application has.

Since VantagePoint uses WPF, all of the controls are rendered in a vector based format. This allows the controls to be sized in an infinite size range while still maintaining a sharp, crisp look. Additionally, Vector based graphics means less overhead for your application.

VantagePoint was written using C# as the code behind. Since C# was originally created as part of the .NET initiative back in 2001, it works very closely with .NET and WPF. Because of this relationship between the technologies, the controls are lightweight, fast, and efficient. The controls also have a full API allowing you to code against every property, method, or value the controls have.

VantagePoint WPF Controls includes:

• Buttons - create professional buttons which fire an event each time the button is pressed and released. Each style has a repeat, toggle and standard version.
• Radial Gauges - the Radial Gauge is a control that allows users to view quantitative information easily in a visual format
• Sliders - these slider controls allow users to manipulate the value of the control graphically within a finite rante. You can display horizontal or vertical sliders.
• LED Displays - The LED Display was designed for displaying messages such as messages to your employees, or visitors to your facility, flash warnings or any other user-defined content you want to display
• Input Controls - these controls can be used for entering and displaying user input data in either an alpha or numeric format
• Miscellaneous Controls - The controls in this suite have a variety of uses from displaying time and date on your desktop in varying formats, or using the Marquee for scrolling information.
