I am using VBeXpress.NET (3.0) for half a year for ASP.NET application development. It has well structured (n-tiered) generated code. They also have relatively easy extendable generation templates.

However there are still many bugs/enefficiencies in the generated code and in the generator GUI itself. Fortunately most of them can be fixed by modifying templates. But every developer has to fix them by himself.

Propogate the modification of database (e.g adding a column) to the code is also very time consuming.

The biggest disadvantage of VBeXpress is their very poor support: they ignore many questions and if they answer, it is almost always after I found the solution by myself. There is no support forum/discussion group.

In summary, the product is a good start for a new project, but be prepared to do a lot of coding by yourself later to make a production quality application.
