A Front-end and Back-end solution suite with 65+ advanced UI controls and data manipulation libraries. Xceed Ultimate Suite offers both UI tools for application front-ends and data handling libraries for application back-ends providing high quality extensible controls including grids, charts, UI, Zip, FTP, and encryption as well as networking libraries. All Xceed Ultimate Suite .NET / Silverlight 3 controls written in managed code, all ActiveX/COM controls (except SmartUI ActiveX) written in ATL 3.0 and supporting both the STA and MTA multi-threaded apartment models. No external dependencies. Xceed Ultimate Suite Blueprint Edition includes the fully commented C# source code to all the .NET and Silverlight components included in the Xceed Ultimate Suite.

What's new in Xceed Ultimate Suite 2009 v5?

• Xceed DataGrid for WPF Professional Edition v3.5 features a new view called Tableflow: it offers fast animated smooth scrolling (with inertia) for improved UI performance (works with data virtualization), sticky group headers and master/detail headers, and parent rows, as well as full-column animated drag and drop reordering. Also new are status indicator glyphs and filtering, for datagrids bound to a virtualizing collection
• Added Xceed Professional Themes for WPF, which provides five flawless WPF themes that can be used to style any official Microsoft WPF control. Implicit styles are supported, so only a couple of lines of XAML are needed to apply uniform styles to any WPF application. Includes Glass, Media, and Office 2007 themes. Xceed Real-Time Zip for Silverlight (v2.1) and Xceed Upload for Silverlight (v2.1) are both now compiled with Silverlight 3

What's new in Xceed Ultimate Suite 2009 v4?
Xceed’s compression products have been updated to incorporate the latest Zip and compression standards by supporting the LZMA algorithm, used by WinZip 12. UTF-8 character encoding in headers is also provided for improved multilingual support.

What's new in Xceed Ultimate Suite 2009 v3?
Xceed DataGrid for WPF v3.2 Professional Edition features improvements to the datagrid's data virtualization capabilities (grouping, support for data sources implementing IQueryable (LINQ), support for inserting and deleting items with InsertionRow and DeleteCommand), support for Entity Framework data sources, and the ability to customize the contents of the AutoFilterControl. Both the Professional Edition and the Standard Edition v3.2 feature a ComboBox editor (combo boxes can now easily be used as cell editors now without the need to write code to fill the combo box) and unbound columns.

What's new in Xceed Ultimate Suite 2009 v2?
Xceed FTP for .NET and Xceed FTP for .NET Compact Framework have been updated to version 4.0 with enhancements that greatly improve the ability of these products to connect to a server residing behind a firewall. Internal architecture changes improve performance and transfer capabilities, and take advantage of the .NET Framework class SslStream; these improvements are also featured in Xceed Activities for Workflow Foundation, which has been updated to version 1.3. Xceed Upload for Silverlight has been updated to version 1.1 and features the ability to perform uploads of unlimited amounts of data in a single operation or batch.

The .NET products in this version of Xceed Ultimate Suite work only with .NET Framework 2.0 and higher.

• Updated Xceed DataGrid for WPF Professional Edition to version 3.0: Features Xceed’s stunning, flexible Cardflow™ 3D view, with multiple card layouts and transitions. Gives end-users complete control over aspects such as card offsets, spacing, and angles; camera position and angle; and field of view. Additional views are being developed and will be added as they become available. A choice of four multi-surface themes is provided: Three Office themes (Blue, Black, Silver), and Chameleon, which lets you choose the gradient colors. End-users can even switch between any 2D and 3D view on the fly, while the datagrid retains its state. Also new are column virtualization, column stretching and column widths supporting star values, performance increases, ability to handle millions of rows and thousands of columns, custom sorting, improved validation, support for IDataErrorInfo, easy binding to XML data sources, and inserting records into non-IBindingList sources.
