What's new in Xceed Zip for .NET Compact Framework V4.3?
This release provides compatibility, flexibility, and performance improvements. Specifically, Zip file sizes can be optimized and their creation made more efficient because developers can now decide whether folder entries should be written to the zip archive. Compatibility with Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET / .NET CF / Silverlight is improved and flexibility is increased in general, as it is now possible to zip using the Deflate format without compression.

Xceed Zip for .NET CF (Compact Framework) OVERVIEW

Xceed Zip for .NET Compact Framework is a data compression and all-purpose file manipulation class library for creating mobile applications.

Xceed Zip for .NET Compact Framework is WinZip 12 compatible, supporting the LZMA algorithm for improved compression (Zip files using WinZip 12's special JPEG recompression feature are not supported)

It offers advanced zip features such as the ability to create split and spanned zip files, create customized self-extracting zip files (.EXE), support flexible memory operations and offer the enhanced Deflate64 compression method.

Written in entirely in C#, the library is designed to offer .NET Compact Framework developers with compact, high performance code and maximum flexibility. It also offers extremely easy to use shortcuts for accomplishing basic Zip and data compression tasks with only a single line of code.
