Prerequisites:  

Aviator consists of Domino databases that install on your existing Domino servers. Aviator is accessible from Windows, a Notes Client, or a Web browser.

Aviator does require a Domino server but you do not necessarily need to purchase or work on Lotus Notes clients (you can access Aviator on the server through any web browser). But if you are not already running Domino, you will need to at least purchase the Domino server and client licenses to the server.

Aviator Server Requirements: Aviator runs on a Lotus Notes/Domino server (R4.6, R5, R6, R6.5, R7.0, R8.0). Aviator supports all the platforms supported by the Lotus/Domino server, including IBM OS/2, Microsoft Windows 98,NT,2000,2003,  Novell Netware, IBM AIX, Sun Solaris (SPARC and x86), HP-UX, AS/400 and LINUX.

Aviator Client Requirements: Aviator supports Lotus Notes clients (R4.6, R5, R6, R6.5, R7.0, R8.0) and web browsers from Netscape and Microsoft (R5 and higher). Aviator supports all the platforms supported by the Lotus Notes and web browser clients, including IBM OS/2, Microsoft Windows 95/98, Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 (Intel and Alpha), Apple Macintosh OS (68k and PowerPC), IBM AIX, Sun Solaris (SPARC and x86), HP-UX and AS/400.

Attach Requirements:
Servers - Domino R4.6, R5 and R6, R6.5,R7.0, R8.0 on any supported platform.
Clients - Lotus Notes R4.6, R5 and R6, R6.5,R7.0, R8.0 on Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000/2003/XP.
Office Productivity Applications - Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 97/2000/XP/2003, 2007, MS Visio 2000,2003,2007, Corel WordPerfect, Quattro Pro and Presentations 8, 9,10,11,and 12, Lotus Word Pro and Freelance Graphics, Adobe Capture, ScanSoft PaperPort, AutoCad

Licensing Information:  

One software license is required per user.
Minimum quantity of 50 Full User Licenses must be purchased. The Full User License allows you to read and edit documents.

Read Only User License - users are able to view but not edit documents. (You must own Full User Licenses before you are able to purchase Read Only User Licenses)

Annual Maintenance License - includes support and maintenance updates for 1 year.

Unlimited Technical (Code Level) Support - provides code-level support for unlimited users for 1 year.
Application (End User) Support - provides end user support for 1 year.
(Maintenance and support licenses require a single point of contact within your organization.)

License Report - Please note that for reporting purposes you will need to send a License Report annually to ensure license compliance.
