We use ECO for the prototyping. If the Model is stable (classes with relations, state machines, derived associations, derived attributes, etc.) and the prototype of the user interface is ready and approved we have possibility to continue the development using ECO or to rewrite the domain using nhibernate/spring/entity/etc. We have the PICTURE of the business domain, not the INFRASTRUCTURE.
