What's new in NetAdvantage Reporting 2012 Volume 1?

• HTML5 Report Viewer - Render NetAdvantage Reporting Reports within Web and desktop applications, and mobile devices. Optimized for Windows 7, Windows 8, and iOS devices, NetAdvantage reporting now provides support for the most common touch and multi-touch gestures such as tap, swipe, pinch, and spread.
• Touch/Gesture Support - Get multi touch and gesture support (such as panning and flick scrolling) for the Silverlight, WPF, and WinForms report viewers.
• jQuery UI Compatible - NetAdvantage Reporting supports ThemeRoller, a tool which facilitates the creation of custom themes that are compatible with jQuery UI widgets. Pre-built themes can be downloaded and incorporated into your applications to style the HTML5 Report Viewer.
• Change Connection Strings at Run-Time - Offer your users a convenient way of changing the connection string of a report's SQL data source at run-time, useful when you need to change up based on current environment.
• Change How a Report is Loaded at Run-Time - Get more flexibility with loading reports. Using new URI Resolvers, you can specify how the report definition is loaded - from a location in your file system, a web URL, or streams.

You can create client-side and disconnected reports. Your report's end users can view reports without being connected to a server or the Internet. Included features for reporting: images, filtering, grouping, alignment, headers and footers.
• Easy-to-use report design interface - Design controls and features are integrated for use with Visual Studio, and provide an easy way to create data reports. Since design controls are based in Visual Studio, all members of your team can work together building reports that optimize data presentation and visual appeal.
• Flexible report viewing - Reports can be rendered and viewed locally or even remotely (on a server) with the Report Viewer feature. This feature can even be hosted within Windows Forms and ASP.NET applications for reuse.

• Export to PDF and Excel - Even from the client side in Silverlight, it alleviates traditional "round trips" to the server to provide basic PDF and Excel exports.
