Barcode Tools for Crystal Reports V2.0 lets you add barcodes to reports in either metafile or PNG formats.

Barcode Tools for Crystal Reports provides the tools needed to include most common barcodes within Crystal Reports, either as graphic images or as font-based barcodes. A local machine server for Windows is included for embedding picture barcodes in Crystal Reports XI or later. Server versions include servlets for IIS and Java for use on a remote machine or a company server. A User Function Library (UFL) is also included for creating font-base barcodes in Crystal Report 8 or later. Barcode Tools for Crystal Reports also includes an OLE server for use with the Report Designer Component for VB6 supplied with Crystal Reports 8-9. Samples reports are included for Crystal Reports 8.5, 9, X and XI.

These new versions include 32/64 bit barcode image creators for embedding barcode images within Crystal Reports (version 11 or later) in either the space-saving metafile format or as Portable Network Graphics. BardecodeFiler improves processing speed

Version 1.6.1 processes TIFF and JPEG documents more quickly and adds rearranged tabbed options screen.

BardecodeFiler is an application that splits and renames TIFF documents according to the barcode values found in the images.The application reads documents from an input folder and creates new documents in an output folder. The original documents are not modified or deleted. The name of a new document created with BardecodeFiler is controlled by a template, which can include the original file name, barcode values and sequence numbers. BardecodeFiler can search for barcodes of type Codabar, Code 128, Code 2 of 5, Code 3 of 9, PDF-417, EAN-13, UPC-A, EAN-8 and UPC-E.

The options screen has been re-arranged using tabs and the input, output and exception folder boxes have been moved onto the first tab from the main window.
A new "Processed" folder has been added, with an option to move the input files into this folder once they have been processed.
Another option to allow the over-write of output files has also been added.
Changes to the components used to load images into memory mean that TIFF and JPEG documents process faster. PDF files created by scanning or faxing will also process faster if the new option "PDF files contain scanned or faxed images" is ticked in the PDF Options tab.
A new split mode has been added, "Split on different barcode value ", which only splits a documents when a new barcode value is found.
A problem whereby the application slowed down as sequence numbers increased has been fixed.

dBarScan.SL 1D lets you decode barcode images captured with the Windows Phone camera.

dBarScan.SL 1D is a C# Silverlight component for Windows Phone 7 that allows barcode images captured with the Windows Phone camera to be decoded. It lets you use your Windows Phone to scan barcodes, in effect your Windows Phone becomes a barcode scanner or barcode reader. dBarScan.SL 1D requires Visual Studio 2010 and the Windows Phone developer toolkit for building products. The package includes a sample project with C# source code. The sample project may be compiled in Visual Studio 2010 and may be deployed to Windows Phones or emulators. As the emulator does not contain a suitable camera, the sample project may be built in debug mode where it uses a sample picture for decoding.
