Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Flex is a cross-platform report generator, designed for use in Rich Internet Applications. Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Flex gives developers and users a flexible tool for creation and subsequent use of reports on the Web. Included in Stimulsoft Reports.Fx is a full-featured standalone report designer. The report designer was created using Adobe AIR technology. This makes it easy to work on multiple platforms without compatibility issues.

Parameters - To extend the functionality of reports in the new version, Stimulsoft have significantly improved working with RequestFromUser parameter of variables. Now the process for data request from a user can be expanded. The user can specify not only simple values, but also lists of values and value ranges.
Export to Word 2007 - Export to Word 2007 is now available in Stimulsoft Reports.Fx. With this export you can create a Word 2007 file based of a rendered report. You can start the export process from the Save menu of the report viewer. Before exporting reports, you can configure basic settings with the export settings dialog.
Report Checker - If you have problems with displaying or rendering reports, you can see a list of errors with detailed information about the problem. In addition, the report generator will offer a solution and let you know if it is possible to be fixed automatically.
Export Components - Export reports in which the following components are used Bar-code, Flag, Chart, and all types of Shapes.
Cross Reports - In the designer you can find the Cross-Tab component, with which you can create very complex cross-reports. The Cross-table is setup with a graphical editor that can be invoked double-clicking the component.
Double Pass - Using two passes allows the software to calculate parameters during the first pass that can be used for calculations or displaying in the second pass.
New Functions - New functions such as Switch, Choose, StartsWith, EndsWith, and IndexOf have been added to the data dictionary. The Switch and Choose functions are used to select values from a list of values. These functions are available from the data dictionary panel for using in expressions. Functions StartsWith, EndsWith, and IndexOf and are designed to work with strings.
Dynamic Sorting - In the new version you can re-sort the data directly in the viewer. All you need to do is to setup a few properties.
Page Order - Now you can change the order of pages in the report designer. This can be done using the context menu of the page tab. In the context menu you can also delete the current page of the report.
Globalization - The new version of the report generator provides full functionality for report globalization. Using an editor, you can create international resources for your report. Then, with only one line of code, the report can be globalized to the specified culture.
Exporting Reports to CSV Format - Beginning with version 2011.2 you can convert rendered reports into this format. The export process is run from the Save menu of the report viewer.
PrintOnAllPages Property - The report generator is now able to work with the new property - PrintOnAllPages. This property is available in components Header and Footer Bands.

Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for PHP is a reporting tool for creating reports over the Internet using client-server technology. Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for PHP combines two technologies. The PHP script works on the server-side and controls the report generation. Adobe Flash technology works on the client side. This technology provides a universal mechanism for report generation on almost any client. Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for PHP is very easy to use and at the same time the product offers a modern, cost-effective way to provide reports on Web sites, built using PHP technology. New barcode - You can now add a new barcode to reports. The name of the barcode is Royal TPG Post KIX 4-State. This barcode is used for postal purposes in the Netherlands.
Request from User - The report generator can now request the value of variables from the user in the window of the report viewer.
AutoSize - The new version of the report generator now supports CanGrow, CanShrink, and AutoWidth properties. Properties can be used to automatically change the size of text.
All types of charts - The previous version of the report generator supported only a few types of diagrams. Now the product supports all types of charts.
Totals - Now the calculation of totals of the report is no longer a problem. All total functions are supported.
Functions - In the new version Stimulsoft have added support for a large number of functions. Now almost all the functions for working with data are supported.
Sorting - Now the report generator supports the ability to sort the data before output. You can use the Sort property of DataBand to specify sorting rules. Also sorting in a group does work. In this case, the SortDirection property of the GroupHeader is used.
Expressions in a report - Supports not only references to the database column, but also expressions using variables, data fields, functions, etc.
Primitives - Stimulsoft have implemented geometric primitives in the report generator. The following primitives are supported: Vertical line, Horizontal line, Rectangle, Rounded Rectangle.
Variables in a report - Variables in a report are now available. They can be used in expressions. You can set them from code, pass either as parameters or through the URL in the form of a POST request.
Formatting - Formatting of text expressions is available in the new version. Supported format types are: Number, Date, and Time.
