SQL Backup Pro creates smaller, safer, faster backups of SQL Server databases. Backups are compressed, reducing storage space and hardware requirements (often known as "database zip"), they are created in less time than native backups and are securely encrypted. Native SQL Server backups are essentially just a dump of data stored in SQL Server .mdf and .ldf files. This is an inefficient and insecure way of storing backup data as it is stored unencrypted, unprotected and uncompressed. SQL Backup Pro is an enterprise-level tool that scales to meet the needs of larger SQL Server implementations. Access and manage all server backups remotely, from a central, client-based GUI. Speed improvements when opening large DITA maps
When a map contains a large number of topic references now the map is opened three times faster in the DITA Maps Manager view.

A new option allows formating and saving only the modified elements. This keeps the formating of the other elements for easy comparing of the two versions of the file in a versioning system.
Improvement in Outline view
The start of the content of an inline child element is displayed both in that element and in the parent element in the Outline view. The parent element may remain collapsed in the Outline view which makes the document navigation faster.

XQuery 1.1 Transformations
Saxon 9 EE bundled with <oXygen/> can be used to run XQuery 1.1 transformations.
New Spell Checker
Hunspell (the engine used by OpenOffice, Mozilla and others) is now used by <oXygen/> for spell checking. <oXygen/> ships dictionaries for English, German, French and Spanish but users can install any from the almost 100 available dictionaries. The old spell checking engine remains available.
Hex Viewer
<oXygen/> includes a hex viewer.
Workspace Access Plugin

Mark Resource Read-Only

For example when a zip archive or an ODF file or an OOXML file is opened in the Archive Browser view the plugin can decide to open also a file from the archive in a new XML editor panel, like the document.xml main file from an OOXML file archive.
Faster Working Copy Load Time
A working copy is cached, so when it is loaded next time in the Working Copy view, the operation will be much faster than in the previous versions of Syncro SVN Client.
Automatic Refresh of the Working Copy
The working copy is automatically refreshed every time Syncro SVN Client gains focus, if changes are detected in the file system. This is done in order to update the state of the resources modified by external applications.
