New Layout Style - In the new Compact Layout View, field values in the Row Area are grouped across a single column, providing more space for the report. To make different field values standout in the column, rows are indented in a tree-like manner.
Customization Form Enhancements - In advanced mode, the Customization Form displays additional panes mirroring related drop areas. This can be useful when fields in the View are clipped or drop areas are hidden. Manipulating fields across panes allows end-users to modify the report from within the Customization Form, without changing the View layout. By default, end-user actions in the Customization Form automatically result in updates to the View. Optionally, update commitments can be made explicitly by the end-user. For this purpose, the Customization Form provides a "Defer Layout Update" check box and an "Update" button at the bottom. Control over the Customization Form's positioning is also very useful. It can be displayed in a standalone window or hosted within any windowed control.

Enhanced Layout Serialization - With this release, DevExpress have improved the layout serialization capabilities of the ASP.NET Pivot Grid control. Added Support for Multiple Value Fields
You may add as many value fields to a view as you want. This enables users to aggregate totals for multiple measures from the data set. For example, create a view that compares both total revenue and cost side-by-side.
New ChartTotals Property
This property allows you to create charts that show only totals, as opposed to creating one separate series for each column in the OlapTable. Setting ChartTotals on the C1OlapChart or C1OlapPage controls can be useful in situations where the views contain too many series to visualize in a single chart.
Added Defer Updates Option to C1OlapPanel
This checkbox has the same functionality as the one in Microsoft Excel pivot tables. It suspends the automatic updates that occur while the user modifies the view definition so the user can make extensive changes more efficiently.
Added C1OlapField Style property
This property allows you to assign style properties (such as cell background and foreground) to a specific field, customizing the way the field value appears in a C1OlapGrid. This feature can be useful in views that contain multiple value fields.
Added Conditional Formatting Properties
These properties allow you to apply conditional formatting to a field, making certain values stand out when displayed on a C1OlapGrid.

Features

Code-free Data Analysis - To create the simplest OLAP application, just create an empty Silverlight application, drop the C1OlapPage control on the page, and connect to a data source. It's that easy. Run your application and go.
Dynamic Views - Dynamically create data views by dragging fields into the row, column and value lists. This will give you a summary of your data. You can also summarize your data by modifying the filters. The UI is similar to Microsoft Excel.
Subtotals and Grand Totals - The OLAP Grid automatically calculates grand totals for each slice of your data. If you measure multiple dimensions the OLAP Grid can also calculate subtotals with collapsible headers.
Multiple Value Fields - You may add as many value fields to a view as you want. This enables users to aggregate totals for multiple measures from the data set. For example, create a view that compares both total revenue and cost side-by-side.
Conditional Formatting - Simple properties make it easy to apply conditional formatting to the C1OlapGrid. Conditional format thresholds may be specified as absolute values or as percentages. Make certain values stand out to draw attention. For example, apply a unique style for values in the top 10% and another style for values in the bottom 10%.
OLAP Charting - The C1OlapChart control is used to display OLAP charts. It supports five different chart types (Bar, Column, Area, Line and Scatter), automatic tooltips, stacking and palette selection.
Print Reports - Directly print the C1OlapGrid and C1OlapChart together in a single report. Users can customize scaling, page margins, headers and footers, and insert time stamps, page counts and a title for the report.
Filtering - To narrow down the data pool, use the filter feature. You can filter on multiple fields. Just right-click on the field you would like to filter and select Field Settings. From the Field Settings dialog box, you can create your custom text filter. No coding required. The filter settings get saved with the OLAP view so they are there the next time you load the view.
Totals and Aggregates - Choose from many different aggregations for the totals (Value field). Choose from Sum, Count, Average, Maximum, Minimum, First, Last, Variance, Standard Deviation, and Variance Population.
Data Formatting - Format the value field in the Field Settings dialog. Select from decimal, currency, and percentage formats; or create custom format strings.
View Underlying Records - You can see the underlying records behind each aggregated value in the OLAP grid by double-clicking any cell.
Undo/Redo History Support - As you make changes to the OLAP view you can undo and redo steps.
Save/Load Views - ReadXml and WriteXml methods allow you to persist views to files and streams. These methods make it very easy to implement predefined views and expose them in a menu so your end-user can select them.
Customizable User Interface - OLAP for Silverlight exposes most of the components it contains, which makes customization straightforward. Data Dynamics Analysis is a free form visual analysis component for .NET developers. It takes the complexity out of standard data analysis and gives users a simple drag and drop environment that promotes exploring data visually. Data Dynamics Analysis is aimed towards developers whose business users need to analyze data.

Disable Sorting in OLAP Mode
By default, Pivot Grid controls automatically sort field values (row and column headers) in either ascending or descending order. This can be replicated functionality when working with OLAP cubes since they can define their own value order. To handle these instances, our Pivot Grid controls allow you to disable header value sorting thus keeping the value sequence defined by the data source.
Improved Memory Utilization
Previously, DevExpress Pivot Grid controls loaded the entire underlying dataset into the memory, regardless of which data needed to be displayed on screen. With this release, only the visible field data is being loaded which dramatically decreases memory consumption, especially for data sources with a large number of data fields (properties).
