Updates in 2010 R2

ClientUI 4 adds 60 new controls for Silverlight and WPF, making a total of 240 controls for the entire suite. The new release is strongly focused in three areas: rich content and UI controls, advanced input controls, and fundamental navigation controls.

UXCalendar
One of the controls introduced in ClientUI 4 is UXCalendar, a sophisticated calendar control featuring multiple month views, multiple date selection feature and data binding support using MVVM design pattern. UXCalendar sports a sleek yet authentic style and user interface, complete with today link, navigational buttons, week number and adjacent days.
Content and UI Controls
A modern, AJAX-style spinning busy indicator has been added. There are also a number of new button line-ups such as flat button, repeat button as well as a reusable thumb control.
Navigation Controls
A pixel-perfect tab control has been added. It supports most of the expected tabbing features. It also supports tabstrip placement, but with 1/3 smaller XAML size compared to the Silverlight Toolkit or other solutions. It also supports built-in transition and loading source from external XAML. This allows you to create many UI designs, including a Metro UI style tabbing interface (one that smoothly slides to the left or right based on the navigation direction).
Data Input
Nearly 80% of the new controls in this release are about data input. Many editors essential for building line-of-business applications, from masked input, currency editor, date time editor, to numeric up-down and rating control have been added. There are also more advanced input controls such as a multi-range slider bar, a versatile calendar supporting multiple months view, and a memory-efficient file upload control that conforms to RFC 1867 form-based upload specification. It also delivers a number of innovative input controls - an analog clock control with editing mode and a date time picker that offers more intuitive ways to input date and time values. In addition there have been significant enhancements to the existing line-up, including dock panel, content transition, and navigation framework.

The core concept behind this time-saving feature is two WebInputs. One is the start time selector and another is the end time selector, and the end time value must be greater than the start time value. The built-in validation engine ensures the date selection is correct and valid.
