Xceed DataGrid for WPF V4.3 - Improved performance during horizontal scrolling with a large number of columns, as well as improved responsiveness and efficiency auto-filtering when there are changes in the data source. Initial loading and vertical scrolling have been improved, as has scrolling performance while dragging a column over the edges of a datagrid.

DataGrid for Silverlight adds fixed group headers and footers, 14 statistical functions and improves Blend support.

Xceed DataGrid for Silverlight

Fixed group headers and footers have been added - These allow developers to incorporate sections of "must-see" information into each group, which remain visible at all times, including when the containing group is collapsed
Also, 14 statistical functions, which are natural candidates for display in the fixed group headers/footers, have been added.
Blend support has been greatly improved to let designers take full advantage of the product
Custom data sources are now easier to implement, and support for SQL databases and remote lists has been added.
Thanks to changes in the control's API, many of the features equivalent to those found in the stock Silverlight control are much more easy to configure
Other new features include copy-paste to Excel, the addition of SelectedItem and SelectedItems properties for use with local data, improvements to item selection, the implementation of several properties present in the WPF datagrid, and easy localization and display of filter cell operators. Also, the detail information of groups (e.g., item count, list of items) is now available for group headers and footers (local data).
A new theme (JetPack) has been added.

Xceed Ultimate ListBox for Silverlight

Includes benefits from improvements to the product's support of custom data sources, which are now easier to implement.
Support for SQL databases and remote lists has also been added.

PPMd is now implemented in fully managed C#. This has allowed Xceed to make several improvements in their compression products.
Xceed Zip for .NET with Self-Extractor, Xceed Zip for .NET, and Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET are now fully compatible with 64-bit Windows systems.
The PPMd compression algorithm -- previously only available in the .NET products -- is now also available in Xceed Zip for .NET Compact Framework, Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET CF, and Xceed Real-Time Zip for Silverlight.
The default buffer size in Xceed's FileSystem products has improved speed in certain situations. (Affects Xceed Zip for .NET, Xceed Zip for .NET with SFX, and Xceed FTP for .NET.)
The built-in AES encryption methods available in .NET (3.5 and up) can now be used, which results in faster AES encryption.

Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET V5.1 increases compatibility with older Zip tools and supports uncompressed Zip files

Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET lets applications read or write fully standard Zip archives without resorting to intermediate disk/memory storage or temporary files. Archives and extracted files are immediately ready for processing while data is still being received. Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET provides optimized, "on-the-fly" performance ideal for scenarios such as high-demand server environments, Biztalk servers, diskless operations, I/O-intensive Web sites, or any situation where real-time streaming zip/unzip capabilities are needed, or where memory or disk space is at a premium. Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET Blueprint Edition includes the product's C# source code as well as a 1-year Vanguard subscription including updates to the source code.

Xceed Real-Time Zip for .NET is also available as part of Xceed Data Manipulation Suite and Xceed Ultimate Suite.

Updates in V5.1

Zip format compatibility improvements and bug fixes. Specifically, compatibility with older zip tools has been increased by making it the default behavior to produce Zip 2.0-compatible archives; this behavior can be changed by the developer.
Also, the ZipWriter can generate uncompressed zip files that the product's ZipReader can read increasing flexibility (combines the Deflate format and no compression).

And because this takes the computation burden off the computer's CPU, the application's performance can improve in general.

Latest release adds new Tableflow view and five new WPF themes.

Xceed Ultimate Suite offers both UI tools for application front-ends and data handling libraries for application back-ends providing high quality extensible controls including grids, charts, UI, Zip, FTP, and encryption as well as networking libraries. All Xceed Ultimate Suite .NET / Silverlight controls are written in managed code, all ActiveX/COM controls (except SmartUI ActiveX) are written in ATL 3.0 and supporting both the STA and MTA multi-threaded apartment models. No external dependencies. Xceed Ultimate Suite Blueprint Edition includes the fully commented C# source code to all the .NET and Silverlight components included in the Xceed Ultimate Suite.

Xceed DataGrid for WPF Professional Edition v3.5 features a new view called Tableflow: offering fast animated smooth scrolling (with inertia) for improved UI performance (works with data virtualization), sticky group headers and master/detail headers, and parent rows, as well as full-column animated drag and drop reordering.
