XtraReports Suite v2011 adds LightSwitch support

XtraReports Suite was engineered to help you create stunning reports for your end-users in the shortest possible time - yet maintain all the capabilities you've come to expect from today's reporting solutions. With full Microsoft Visual Studio .NET integration, XtraReports Suite allows you to build reports in the same exact way you build a typical Windows Forms application. XtraReports Suite uses the same code editor (C#, VB.NET or J#), the same Property Grid, the same component Toolbox, the same alignment toolbar, and all available Visual Studio IDE resources.

Updates in v2011 vol 1

LightSwitch Support - This release introduces support for the newest member of the Visual Studio family: LightSwitch. This integration interacts seamlessly with entities created within LightSwitch and provides a native and consistent experience when developing reports.
XML Serialization - With this release, you can save/load report definitions using a custom XML format in a stream or file. This serialization algorithm is twice as fast as that of CodeDOM, and consumes much less memory.
New Barcode Type - DataMatrix ECC200 - Data Matrix code (the ISO/IEC 16022 standard) is a two-dimensional matrix barcode consisting of black and white "cells" arranged in a rectangular pattern. The information to be encoded can be text or raw data.
XtraReports for MVC - With this release, XtraReports introduces two specialized controls for MVC Reporting: MVCxReportViewer and MVCxReportToolbar.
Web Document Map - You can now easily implement client-side navigation for your Web reports using the ReportDocumentMap control that ships with the XtraReports Suite.
Web Parameters Panel - DXperience v2011 vol 1, allows you to incorporate a Web report parameters user interface using the ReportParametersPanel control that ships with the XtraReports Suite.

Updates in v2009 vol 3

Enhanced Report Designer
Updated themes to make auxiliary elements more subtle. This includes the grid, band headers, resizing grips, selection and focus rectangles. The Toolbox now shows only icons by default, thus providing more space for the design surface. Both left and right margins can now be customized in the editor (only the right margin was previously available). Microsoft Visual Studio style snap lines are now available for easier control alignment.
New Script Editor
Prior to v2009 vol 3, all XtraReports scripts were available via individual properties and were edited in individual popup windows. It was hard to review the entire script code in the editor, hard to navigate between method and maintain common functionality. To overcome these script management issues, this new version introduces a new improved script editor that provides centralized access to all event handlers for your report. To access the new editor, simply click the Scripts tab at the bottom.
