With a truly global launch on Mon Apr 12th, 2010, at multiple venues around the world, Microsoft released Visual Studio 2010 the latest version of their IDE for individual developers and also for project teams. There are several editions available: Professional, Premium & Ultimate - plus a Test Professional edition aimed at testers and QA teams. There is also an MSDN Essentials subscription offer available that is a very cost effective way to get hold of all the latest Microsoft releases such as: Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise & Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Datacenter. With VS 2010 came .NET Framework 4 and the following day Scott Guthrie announced the official release of Silverlight 4!
So a very busy time for Microsoft and also a very busy time for you, as you rush to update your products to support the latest releases from Redmond, WA. Our customers are already asking us if your products are compatible with Visual Studio 2010, so to help them find out, we have launched a new Visual Studio 2010 Product Store. Make sure your products are highlighted in this New Product Store by telling us about your new releases and their latest compatibility with: VS 2010, .NET Framework 4 and Silverlight 4. Our customers will then be easily able to find your latest releases and identify them as being compatible with their needs!
Make sure you tell your Technical Account Managers: Paul Morgan, Paul Kerr, Enrique Perez or Thomas Moon about your new releases and they will help get your products listed in the new VS 2010 Product Store below. We have 200+ products listed already - so if you have not moved your product already - you had better get a move on, or you may get left behind!

Every time you send us a new product release we highlight it in our New Releases area of our Web site. But it is not just our Web site visitors that get to see this news, as we also write individual News items and publish these on our News page and also as an RSS feed. So when you send a new release to us - it not only appears in our Web site and in our Email Newsletters - it also gets spread to lots of other Web sites too. For example the news items are fed to Twitter and our RSS News feed is also published on EggHeadCafe.
