ComponentSource launched a new Bestselling Product and Bestselling Publisher Award program on Feb 9th 2007. There were two separate award lists for our Top 100 Bestselling Products for 2006 and our Top 100 Bestselling Publishers for 2006. The awards were based on the Total Sales $ Value of Sales for the Products/Publishers over the last year from 1st Jan to 31st Dec 2006 through ComponentSource. We gave out separate awards to our Top 5, Top 10, Top 25, Top 50 & Top 100 Bestselling Products and also to our Top 5, Top 10, Top 25, Top 50 & Top 100 Bestselling Publishers from last year. The award winners were notified on Feb 9th 2007 and also listed on our Web site. On Feb 21st 2007 we also announced a similar Top 40 Bestselling Product Award in Japan. Each winning publisher was sent an award logo or logos to use on their Web site Awards pages or adverts. We believe that this new program will help our customers and publishers gauge relative product performance, based on real world orders placed by our global customers from over 110 countries worldwide. We have distributed 18,000 ComponentSource English paper catalogs in Australia and New Zealand. These paper catalogs were poly-bagged with International Developer magazine and distributed in December and January.
