Many thanks to all the publishers who supported us in our 6 month advertising campaign in the MSDN Magazine distributed in North America. We were over subscribed on this marketing campaign and are now running 2 full page adverts until November. Given this popularity we are now planning to offer a similar opportunity to you to appear as 1 of 4 products featured on a full page color advert in the European (30,000 issues), Asia/Pac (29,000 issues) and Australian/New Zealand (9,000 issues) editions of the same magazine. This represents a great opportunity to cost effectively get your product known to international customers in Europe and the Asia/Pacific Region. Paul Flessner announced at Tech Ed that Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 would be launched globally during the week of Nov 7th. This means that you must be getting ready to support this important new version of Visual Studio now. You can download Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 (code named Whidbey) or the full Visual Studio SDK for Beta 2 from MSDN. Important: Microsoft has - unusually for a Beta - also allowed customers to deploy live applications built using the beta in certain circumstances. Read Go Live licensing for more details. So your customers may be already deploying apps built using the Beta 2 pre-launch version and if you aren't ready - they may stop using your components or tools. Customers are already asking us about support for the Beta 2 version of VS 2005 - so it is important for you to act now so that your products work with Beta 2 and that you are creating new versions of your products ready to launch in November 2005. Don't get left behind by your competitors... many of them are already supporting Beta 2 customers...
