• Introduced a Public Image Catalog, offering secure, minimal container images with low-to-no CVEs. This catalog is designed for development, deployment, and popular open-source applications. It enhances the experience for both current and prospective users, allowing them to easily browse, evaluate, and pull the latest free container images.
  • The Catalog will include a summary of each container, including:
    • Latest published date.
    • Image size.
    • Image architecture (x86).
    • README.
    • CVE count by severity.
    • VEX information.
    • Pull commands.
    • Links to documentation.
    • SBOM data.
    • Showcase past versions.
  • Component information will be included for each container, including:
    • Name.
    • Version(s).
    • License(s).
    • Total count of packages in image.
    • Security comparison against community version of the image (vuln count, size, SLA).
• Image Customization
  • All images can be customized to meet your needs. Customization may include:
    • Add packages, configurations, or secure language libraries.
    • Access specific tags and image variants.
    • Meet compliance requirements (FIPS, STIG, and more).
