Funktionen

General NOV Improvements:

  • Support for .NET Core 10.0:
    • NOV has a native build for .NET Core 10.0, in addition to the supported builds for .NET Framework 4.7.2+ and .NET Core 8.0 and .NET Core 9.0.
  • Support for Visual Studio 2026:
    • The installation now fully supports Visual Studio 2026.

NOV Chart for .NET Improvements:

  • Line Study Series:
    • Added a new Line Study Series, that supports Trend, Fibonacci Arcs, Fibonacci Fans, Fibonacci Retracements, Quadrant lines, and Speed Resistance lines line studies.
  • Palette Fill Mode:
    • Added a new Palette Fill Mode to the Fast Area, Fast Bar, Fast Line and Fast Point Series.
  • Lidar Data Import:
    • Added support for importing ESRI ASC Grid Data, LAS, and LAZ files and new examples showing how to display Lidar cloud points, grids, and triangulated meshes.
  • Improved GPU Rendering:
    • Improved GPU rendering speed. Optimized shader rendering for all Fast Series and Surface Series.
  • Extended Multi-threaded Support:
    • Added support for multi-threaded Delaunay triangulation and multi-threaded contour extraction for the Grid, Mesh, and Triangulated surfaces series, as well as the Heat Map series.

Framework and UI Improvements:

  • Vector Icons:
    • All raster icons replaced with SVGs to make them look great on high DPI displays.
  • SVG Images:
    • Improved image bounds detection.
  • JPEG Images:
    • Implemented loading of EXIF JPEG images, which are commonly generated by digital cameras. 

Design-Time Support:

  • Predefined Image Selector:
    • Added a predefined image picker that makes it easy to select and use images embedded in NOV Presentation in both the WinForms and the WPF designer.
  • Stability and Performance Improvements:
    • Improved stability and performance of the WinForms and WPF designers for .NET Framework 4.7.2 and .NET 8.0.
