One software license is required per user.

PL/SQL licenses are per named user, and not per PC, Server, Database or Location. Therefore you need just one license for one named user, even if you are running multiple instances on multiple machines.

You may use the software product for the number of named licensed developers within the legal entity of the license holder and within the country of the license holder.

If you have an unlimited user license for the software product, you are entitled to use the software product with an unlimited number of developers within the legal entity of the license holder and within the country of the license holder.

If you have a worldwide license for the software product, you are entitled to use the software product with an unlimited number of developers within the legal entity of the license holder in any country.

Support Contract option
If you order an Annual Support Contract with your PL/SQL Developer licenses, you are entitled to receive technical support by e-mail for the period of 1 or 3 years (depending on the support option purchased). If your current Support Contract has not yet expired the new contract will start on the end date of your current Support Contract. Otherwise the new Support Contract will start on the date of purchase.

You can order the Support Contract at any time, directly with a PL/SQL Developer License or with an Upgrade License, or at a later date. The Support Contract can be renewed when it expires.

The 'Support Contract', unlike the previous 'Service Contract' does not include product updates. To obtain the latest version you will need to purchase an upgrade.

Upgrade options
Upgrade options are available at different prices depending on the version you are upgrading from. You need to select the upgrade that corresponds to the version of your current license. The upgrade entitles you to the latest version. It does not include support unless you purchase a Support Contract, or you already have a current Support Contract.
