A Hostname Deployment License is required to deploy your SpreadJS application.

The SpreadJS developer bundle comes with one Developer License and one annual production Hostname Deployment License. To begin development, you'll get a developer key, and you can add it to your test apps.

How SpreadJS licensing works

Buy the SpreadJS developer bundle and you will be sent your developer key.
When you're ready to begin distributing your app to a live hostname, contact us for an activation code and licensing management link.
Enter your activation code into the provided link, enter your hostname(s), and it will generate your unique Hostname Deployment License key.

What you'll get with SpreadJS Developer Bundle

Includes a Developer License with one year Maintenance for SpreadJS. A Developer License is required for every developer using SpreadJS.
Includes one Hostname Deployment License for one hostname for internal and/or external deployment Non-Commercial. The Deployment license must be renewed Annually. Contact us to inquire about Commercial or SaaS deployment pricing.

Developer License Plus Hostname License Maintenance Support includes:

After your first free year, you can continue receiving the benefits by annually renewing your Maintenance Support. Renewing your Developer Bundle Maintenance also automatically renews your single Hostname Deployment License for Non-Commercial Deployment.

SpreadJS Hostname Deployment License

A Hostname Deployment License is required for each server hostname or named mobile/desktop application. A five (5) Hostname Deployment License pack could license these distribution scenarios:
- www.domain.com
- domain.com
- sub1.domain.com
- sub2.domain.com
- sub3.domain.jp
Internal or Non-Commercial Enterprise Deployment
- One (1) hostname
- Three (3) to Five (5) hostnames
Commercial and SaaS Deployment
- Single Domain (unlimited hostnames) or SaaS *.domain
- Named mobile/desktop application
- Unlimited domains or SaaS *.*
Non-commercial use is defined as an application(s) that will be used for internal or external use where the end-user will not be charged to access the service(s). Commercial and/or SaaS use is defined as an application(s) that will be used for external use where the end-user or company(s) will be charged to access the service(s).
You must own at least one Developer License to purchase a hostname deployment multi-pack.
Perpetual licenses do not need to be renewed annually. If you plan to use your current version of SpreadJS in an application for more than five years, they're an excellent cost-saving option. Perpetual licenses are good only for one specific version of SpreadJS.
You must have an active Hostname Deployment License subscription or perpetual license to continue to deploy any application that uses SpreadJS. If you lapse in your coverage, you must remove SpreadJS from your application.

SpreadJS Optional Deployment Add-ons

Designer Component - The SpreadJS Designer Component is a separate deployment add-on package that gives developers the ability to embed this same ribbon bar and UI functionality into their own web applications.
Pivot Table - The Pivot Table is a separate deployment add-on package that gives developers the ability to embed full pivot table functionality into their own web applications.

Optional Source Code Licenses

You must own at least one Developer License to purchase source code.
Source code license includes unminified source code. Editing rights vary by license rights.

Ist die Lizenz permanent (unbefristet) oder zeitlich begrenzt (befristet)?

SpreadJS Developer Licenses (Entwicklerlizenzen) sind unbefristet und beinhalten ein Wartungsabonnement mit einer Laufzeit von 1 Jahr. Sie können das gekaufte Produkt auch nach Ablauf des Wartungszeitraums weiterhin verwenden. Die Bereitstellungslizenz gilt in der Regel für ein Jahr und muss jedes Jahr verlängert werden, um SpreadJS weiterhin auf einem Produktionsserver bereitstellen zu können.

Was geschieht nach Ablauf meines Wartungsabonnements?

Nach Ablauf des Wartungszeitraums können Sie SpreadJS weiterhin nutzen, haben jedoch keinen Anspruch mehr auf neue Versionen oder telefonischen Support, es sei denn, Sie verlängern Ihr Wartungsabonnement.

Kann ich meine Lizenzen zeitgleich beenden bzw. anpassen?

Ja - ComponentSource kann Ihre Lizenzen zeitgleich beenden, auch wenn diese ursprünglich nicht über uns erworben wurden. Rufen Sie uns an oder senden Sie uns eine Nachricht, wenn Sie eine Beratung wünschen.

Kann ich ein Upgrade durchführen?

Für die Aktualisierung von Vorgängerversionen von SpreadJS auf die aktuelle Version stehen Upgrades zur Verfügung.

Kann ich eine Vorgängerversion kaufen?

GrapeCity bietet keine Vorgängerversionen für den direkten Verkauf. Wenn Sie allerdings eine neue Lizenz für SpreadJS kaufen, liefert Ihnen GrapeCity die gewünschten Produktversion. Wenn Sie eine ältere Version erwerben möchten, Sie bitte mit uns Kontakt auf.
