Projects Personal Workspace

  • Personal Workspace is the Default Project Page - When you open a project, you are now taken directly to your personal workspace, giving you immediate access to your project files and resources. From the workspace, you can easily navigate to review tasks and other project tools as needed. This improved approach helps you get started faster and manage your work more efficiently.
  • Edit Publication Structure - The Publications view from the Personal Workspace now lets you edit the structure of your project publications, with drag-and-drop rearrangement, keyboard shortcuts, and contextual menu actions. You can quickly add or remove topics or maps, create new content, define keys, and edit DITA map properties or profiling attributes. These improvements make it easier to organize and manage your content in one place.
  • See History in Changes View - You can now use the new History tab in the Changes view to track all commits made to your project. You can select each change to see which files were modified and then select a file to see its changes. This helps you understand how your project content has evolved over time and who made each change.
  • Manage Branches - It is now possible for you to manage branches from the Personal Workspace page, this includes actions to switch branches, create new branches, delete existing branches, or merge branches.
  • Selective File Commit - You can now select which modified files from your Personal Workspace to commit, so you share only the changes that are complete and keep other files in progress. This helps you to manage your tasks without interrupting ongoing edits and to avoid sharing incomplete work.
  • Create Review Tasks from the Files View - You can now create a review task and add selected files to it directly from the Files view. This makes it easier to start a review process for specific resources.

Review tasks

  • Show All My Tasks - The new All my tasks tab on the My Review Tasks page lets you see every task you are working on, whether you are the owner or a reviewer. This helps you track all your active tasks in one place.
  • Focus on Recent Tasks - You can now see a Last access column in the My Review Tasks page. Your tasks are automatically sorted by the last time you accessed them, making it easier to focus on tasks you recently worked on.
  • Add Non-Modified Files when Moving Changes to Review Tasks - When you move changes to a review task from your personal workspace, you can now include additional files that you did not make changes to. This helps reviewers see related files and better understand the context of your changes.

Web Author Visual Editor

  • Easily Resize Table Columns with Drag Handles - You can now resize table columns by dragging the handles that appear when you hover over a column separator, instead of editing the table properties.
  • Edit and View Referenced Markdown Content in Expanded DITA Maps - When you use the Edit Topic Content action to expand and edit all referenced topics in a DITA map, you can now also view and edit content from referenced Markdown files. The Markdown content is automatically converted to DITA and displayed as it will appear in the published output, so you can work with all your content in one place.
  • Copy and Paste Visual Editor Content as Markdown - You can use the Copy as Markdown contextual menu action to copy content from the visual editor, then when you paste it in a plain text editor, the clipboard content is formatted as Markdown, preserving styling such as lists, tables, codeblocks, emphasized words, etc.
  • Preview Video and Audio Controls in DITA 2.0 Documents - When editing DITA 2.0 documents, you see video and audio controls (<video>, <audio> elements) rendered directly in the visual editor, so you can easily review embedded media content.
  • Search Templates When Creating a New File - Use the new search filter at the top of the template selection dialog to quickly find the template you need when creating a new file.
  • Support for More Plain Text File Types - You can now open and edit additional file types in plain text mode, including gradle, yaml, yml, dockerfile, sh, bat, gitignore, gitattributes, csv, patch, asciidoc, adoc, asc, rst, json, jsonl, and any file that starts with a period (for example, .test). This makes it easier to work with a wider range of files directly in Content Fusion.

Administration

  • Deactivate and Reactivate User Accounts - You can now deactivate or reactivate user accounts from the Users Management tab in the Administration page. When you deactivate a user, they immediately lose access to Content Fusion, stop receiving notifications, cannot be assigned new work, and their license becomes available for another user. Inactive users are clearly labeled, and you can reactivate them at any time to restore their access.

Oxygen AI Positron Assistant for Content Fusion

  • Automatically Load and Manage Custom AI Actions from Your Project - You can now customize which AI actions are available in your project when using the AI Positron plugin with Content Fusion connected to a Git project. Add your custom AI actions to a positron-ai-actions or .contentfusion/positron-ai-actions folder in your project to have them automatically loaded. To hide specific actions from the interface, list their IDs in an excluded-action-ids.txt file in the same folder.
  • Default OpenAI Model Updated to GPT-4.1 - The GPT-4.1 model is now the default OpenAI model you use with the AI Positron Assistant. With GPT-4.1, you can process larger documents more quickly and at a lower cost, while receiving more accurate and relevant responses.
  • Improved All AI Action Prompts - Prompts for all pre-defined AI actions have been optimized for greater relevance. They are now developed using the DITA XML standard, enabling content reuse for more consistent prompts that follow similar patterns and structure.
  • Attach Files to the Conversation Using Drag/Drop or Copy/Paste - You can now attach files to your AI conversation by dragging them or by copying and pasting them into the chat input area. You can also drag and drop topic references from the DITA Maps view. This makes it faster to share relevant documents and provide context for your AI interactions.
  • Persistent Chat Across Editors - The AI Positron view now keeps your chat content even when you open or close editors. You can continue your conversation as you switch between editors and use chat results while working in different editors.
  • Persistent AI Positron Chat History in Content Fusion - Your chat history is now preserved even if you log out and return at a later time. This ensures you can seamlessly continue your conversations and access previous chat history whenever you need them.
  • Improved Function Call Information - When function calls are used by the AI, you can hover over a function call button to see its details, including key parameters. If the function reads or writes content, you also get the possibility to access the target resource, making it easier to track and review important information.
  • Save Prompt to Favorites After Invocation - After you send an AI prompt, you can add it to your favorites, so you only save prompts that work well for you. You can also edit the prompt before saving it.
  • New AI Connectors for Google Gemini and Vertex AI - You can now connect Positron Assistant to Google Gemini and Vertex AI services. This enables you to leverage advanced AI capabilities from Google directly within your authoring workflow, such as generating content or assisting with editing tasks using your organization's preferred AI provider.
