Fonctionnalités
  • Support for SQL Server 2025 and Windows Server 2025
    • Now fully supports SQL Server 2025 (for both Repository and Monitored Instance) and Windows Server 2025, improving compatibility with the latest SQL and Windows Server environments.
  • Console Display Signal Icon
    • Displays a Signal Icon to indicate when new product news is available. The icon appears in the top-right corner of the SQL Compliance Manager console. Hovering over the icon shows a tooltip with the following information:
      • Green Icon - New news available.
      • White Icon - No news available.
      • Orange Icon - Unable to connect to update server.
Corrections
  • Resolved an issue in Reports where the Login Parameter did not display all the login lists, preventing users from running reports for selected logins.
  • Fixed an issue where Extended Event files were not created when the 'WHERE' clause reached the 3,000-character limit.
  • Resolved an issue where changes to SQL Server settings were not detected, preventing users from monitoring and tracking these updates.

    • Enhanced SQL Object Handling with Schema Name Support
      • SQL Compliance Manager 8.3 enhances the capabilities of Event Alerts, introducing Schema Name Support across the Event Alert Wizard, String Search Dialog, and RuleProcessor, with improved SQL Object Handling and expanded Event Alert coverage.

  • Resource Usage
    • Resolved an issue where Capturing Login Events could cause excessive CPU usage.
    • Fixed an issue where the Collection Server trace directory could not process backlog files.
    • Fixed a case where, after upgrading the SQL Compliance Manager version, it would populate the ObjectType column in the event repository with a value of 0 for certain event classes.
    • Updated UI terminology by changing “Collection Servers” to “Collection Services” for improved clarity and consistency.
