Une licence vous accorde des droits non exclusifs pour installer et utiliser une copie de ce produit afin de déployer le logiciel sur le nombre spécifié d'ordinateurs partout dans le monde.
Les types de licences suivants existent : licences pour usage interne (25, 50, 100, 150, 250, 350, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2000 nœuds et Licence illimitée) et licences pour usage externe, c’est-à-dire pour les Managed Service Providers et IT Service Providers (MSP/ITSP 100 nœuds, MSP 500 nœuds et Licence MSP illimitée).
Les licences pour usage interne (licences non MSP/ITSP) peuvent être utilisées pour déployer sur des ordinateurs appartenant à l’entreprise ou à l’organisation auxquelles elles sont enregistrées (y compris les entreprises affiliées et filiales).
Les licences pour usage externe (licences MSP/ITSP) peuvent être utilisées pour déployer sur des ordinateurs appartenant à la fois au licencié et à ses clients. Il est expressément interdit d'utiliser des licences pour usage interne (licences non MSP/ITSP) pour déployer sur des ordinateurs appartenant à des organisations tierces.
Toutes les licences ne peuvent être utilisées que par la personne ou le personnel de l’organisation à laquelle elles sont enregistrées (y compris les entreprises affiliées et filiales). Les licences non-MSP/ITSP peuvent également être utilisées par du personnel externe fournissant des services IT au licencié au sein de ses réseaux informatiques.
Le nombre d’installations du logiciel avec la même clé de licence n’est limité pour aucune licence. Pour les licences non MSP/ITSP, le nombre total d’ordinateurs sur lesquels toutes les installations font leur déploiement ne doit pas dépasser le nombre de licences acheté, c’est-à-dire que la licence doit couvrir tous les ordinateurs scannés par toutes les installations. Pour les licences MSP/ITSP, le nombre de licences limite uniquement le nombre d’ordinateurs scannés par une seule installation, mais il n’y a pas de limite sur le nombre total d’ordinateurs scannés par plusieurs installations.
