Please Note: MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity) follow the Microsoft "It Just Works" compatibility for their ActiveX controls for Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11, Window Servers 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019. Due to changes in the Windows operating system, and end of support from Microsoft, they can no longer provide maintenance builds of any ActiveX control.

From January 1st 2024 licenses can still be purchased however only licensing support will be provided. The MESCIUS ActiveReports v2 forum will remain open indefinitely, and the knowledge base will continue to be populated with existing solutions.

컴포넌트의 품질은 상당히 우수하다고 생각된다. 하지만, 한국내 레퍼런스가 부족하고 이 툴을 잘 아는 개발자가 별로 없다. 한글 설명서가 제공되지 않는 다는 부분도 조금은 아쉽다. 물론 대부분의 개발컴포넌트가 시장이 작은 한글시장에 맞추어 지역화를 한다는 것은 무리라는 생각도 있지만 그래도 한글예제나 한글 설명서가 있었으면 하는 생각이 든다. 차트가 포함되어 있지않지만, 다른 컴포넌트를 삽입할 수 있는 기능으로 어느정도 커버가 가능하다.
