ABViewer is universal software for working with drawings. It enables you to view, edit, convert, measure and print DWG and other CAD files, as well as 3D models and raster images. You can work with a separate fragment of a drawing or with a group of files. The ABViewer multi-functional design and engineering document management application offers you a wide choice of professional viewing and editing tools with support for more than 30 raster and vector formats, including AutoCAD DWG, DXF, DWF, Hewlett-Packard HPGL, PLT, HGL, CGM, SVG, IGES/IGS, STEP/STP, STL, 3DS, TIFF, BMP, JPG, GIF etc.

ABViewer was designed to make working with files easier. First of all, it is a universal viewer. It supports more than 60 popular formats, including:

  • Vector formats: AutoCAD DWG/DXF, HPGL, PLT, SVG, CGM, EMF, WMF, PDF, etc.
  • Raster formats: PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, etc.
  • 3D formats: STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, SAT, 3DS, etc.

The application enables the conversion of one or several files at once to different formats. Moreover, it offers PDF to DWG conversion, which transforms PDF data to editable DWG entities with almost exact correspondence to the original - arrangement of entities, color, text style, etc.

ABViewer has all the necessary tools to create and edit files. In addition, it provides a special Redline mode to add marks and comments without affecting the original file.

ABViewer measuring tools are available while viewing both 2D drawings and 3D models. The measurement results are displayed in a special panel and are added above the drawing or model. Then, it can be printed or saved as BMP format.

Depending on the task, the application presents different printing methods. For example, it is possible to print:

  • A large format drawing on a standard A4 printer.
  • Only a part of a drawing.
  • All layouts of one file or a group of files at a time.

ABViewer can also transform drawing coordinates to geographical ones, compare DWG/DXF files and display drawings as thumbnails in a separate window.
