  • It is now possible to prevent paths in package script's arguments being encoded, this may avoid some script failures when running the script outside the VE.

Fixes

  • Packages with certain incorrect virtual COM type library entries would fail to load due to strict format validation, this is now changed so that AVE will allow loading these VCOM entries and pass-through it to the saved package to maintain compatibility with Sequencer.

  • AVE now fully supports and recognizes App-V packages created with Windows 1803 ADK. While the APPV package format or supported features has not been updated, 1803 release of ADK ships with updated MSI wrapper package for App-V packages.
  • AVE will now warn if App-V 5.0+ package scripts are run with ScriptRunner.exe with synchronous wait and rollback parameters defined both in the script's main settings and as ScriptRunner's parameters.

  • Loading machine context scripts from Deployment Configuration File would fail and subsequently any such script would be dropped on re-save, this is now fixed and machine context scripts show up and are preserved correctly.
