All DevExpress licenses are permanent. You can continue to use the purchased product after your subscription period ends.
No. Unlike DevExpress .NET controls, the Report and Dashboard Server does not allow you to resell, lease, package, or otherwise distribute the Report and Dashboard Server to a third party.
You can continue to use the product for as long as you require. Subscription expiry means that you will no longer be issued any product updates or new product releases. It is possible to renew your subscription at a lower cost than buying a new license.
Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or send us a message to discuss your needs.
Yes - additional CALs are available in packs of five.
DevExpress does not offer old versions for sale directly. However, purchasing a new license entitles you to download any previous version of the corresponding product for no additional fee.
No. The Report and Dashboard Server is a compiled application (not a developer tool), so there is no source code.
Yes. The DevExpress Report and Dashboard Server uses the total count of active users to calculate the number of CALs used from the available pool. In order to free up a CAL you must either delete a user or make a user inactive.
Technical Support is provided by the web-based DevExpress Support Center. DevExpress aims to respond to all questions within one business day. Support via phone, chat, or email is not provided.
