Hi,
I couldnt find any Component Wizard to help me configuring an OCX registering as Extracting COM. I found a session "Configure the Target System > Component Srvices" but there's only an empty folder called "COM+ Applications", and I can't add or remove anything there. I tried to generate a package with a self-register OCX but it doesnt work in every machine, I tested in 4 machines with windows 7 and two of them failed while registering (error: 1904). Please help me to figure out any solution for this issue, I searched on internet before and there's no informations about IS 2013 Express about this, everybody used some kind of Component Wizard on early IS versions. Thanks!

I am converting a very old (IWZ) project to run under Windows 7
The app installed Ok and runs.
However I found that there are registry keys not included in 'Destination computer's registry data'
that are also being added to the registry.
Any idea of where these keys would be stored in th project so that they can be managed?
I have tried to add these keys to 'Destination computer's registry data' but these entries are being overridden.
Thanks
Jeff

I am converting some very old (IWZ) projects to run under Windows 7.
I am getting the following error during a build.
Billboard table successfully built
ISEXP : error -1024: File C:\HIW\HIEHRAdmin4422\build0001\Dev\hiehradm.exe not found. Cannot stream the file into the Binary table
Binary table successfully built
As far as I can see there are on longer any references to this file.
The application installs and runs OK, I was just wondering how the remove this error.
Thanks
Jeff

I am converting a very ols project to run under Windows 7
The app installed Ok and ran, however I found that the registry key information was being setup in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Wow6432Node
HIE
HIEAdmin
Windows registry for XP was
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
HIE
HIEAdmin
An application I am to convert uses the Registry to obtain information and is expecting it in the XP structure. The organisation would prefer that the appliaction is not changed.
Is there any way of setting up the windows 7 registry structure to be the same as XP structure.
Thanks
Jeff
