We are using TRichView with Lazarus for a couple of weeks and it is definitely a must have. Very good customer support, always available to help using the product or solving issues you may have. One of the best components for text editing with Lazarus.

This is basically a replacement for the TRichEdit built from the ground up with lot of bells and whistles. I chose this to replace DevExpress's layout control when I encountered a problem that was going to have to wait until the next release for them to fix.

There is a bit of a learning curve getting used to using this, but it is worth it. For example, the support is top notch. I had trouble getting started, proposed writing a simple demo to illustrate what I needed to know and the developer custom wrote it within a day.

I think that I need time to study (for all the functions). It is so cool. I recommend this product strongly.
