• WebHelp Responsive: WebHelp Responsive output generation is now more robust when enabling the webhelp.enable.ai.friendly parameter.
• WebHelp Context Sensitive Help: New optimizations allow you to get faster load times when using WebHelp context-sensitive help.

WebHelp Output

• Generate Output Files for Content Located Outside DITA Map Folder - The generate.copy.outer parameter can now be used in WebHelp Responsive transformations to generate output files for resources that are located outside the DITA map folder.

PDF Output

• Character-Level Fallback Fonts - For DITA to PDF publishing, you can now use the new enable.character.level.font.fallback parameter to enable character-level font fallbacks so that mixed-language content (for example, Latin and non-Latin) is rendered correctly in the same document.
• Scale Image Maps - For image maps that are larger than the page size, Chemistry now scales the image and its clickable areas to fit within the page so you can see and use the entire image map in the generated PDF.

Component Updates

• The publishing engine has been updated to integrate DITA-OT 4.4.

• Oxygen PDF Chemistry: Improved the line break algorithm, especially for non-Latin punctuation marks (such as ideographic characters).

• Oxygen PDF Chemistry: Fixed an issue where resetting a background image using "background-image: none;" caused an "image not found" error.
• WebHelp Context-Sensitive Help: Resolved encoding issues for non-Latin file names in context-sensitive help mappings, ensuring that targets are correctly identified and matched regardless of character set.
• WebHelp output: Corrected the rendering of zoomed images so that transparency is displayed properly in the output.
