There are over 100,000 Microsoft technology DBAs, developers and testers currently using Redgate products. The company believes that by producing simple tools that solve the technical problems of Microsoft technology professionals it will continue to add value to the software development community. Therefore, it does not sell 'integrated' software with large, often unnecessary, feature sets. Redgate was founded in 1999 and moved to Cambridge at the start of the year 2000. It is a privately owned and managed company. Its focus is on Microsoft technologies. WPCubed
WPCubed GmbH is a privately owned company based in Munich, Germany. WPCubed have been providing development tools since 1996. Their flagship product is WPTools, a well known and successful word-processing component suite. Their PDF products, which have been available since 2000, are also used by thousands of developers worldwide. Although mainly supporting Delphi and C++Builder, WPCubed are expanding to other platforms to give more developers access to their powerful tools. The recently introduced PDFControl and RTF2PDF DLL's, allow access to PDF technology for almost any developer.

DEXTSolution (Formerly DEVPIA) is a portal site for the professional developer community that was constructed in 2000 under the motto of "developer's utopia". DEXTSolution is one of the world's largest developer communities consisting of over 290,000 members and has 60,000 daily visitors, 583 user groups, 50,000 news monthly updates, 48 professional managers, and 120 professional instructors. Founded in 1996, Planatech Solutions is a privately owned company, specializing in cross-language & cross-platform interfaces. Based on nearly 20 years experience in the Financial Markets, Planatech has produced both commercial and bespoke software. The company's most successful commercial product, XLL Plus, first went to market in 1998, and simplifies the process of converting complex mathematical models written in C/C++ to instantly usable add-in functions in Excel. Clients include investment banks, hedge funds, energy industries, universities.
