Xceed Software creates, markets and distributes quality software components for Microsoft Windows developers. Since its launch in 1994, Xceed has been devoted exclusively to the Microsoft platform. The company's very first product, Xceed Zip Compression Library, was first offered as a VBX for Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 and has been so successful that it has been migrated to every Microsoft platform since, including ActiveX, the .NET Framework, and the .NET Compact Framework. Lassalle Technologies, a publisher of software components was founded in 1997. It is committed to creating powerful flowcharting/diagramming components. It also provides graph layout components which automatically display graphs or flow charts in a reasonable manner, following some aesthetic rules (hierarchic, symmetric, orthogonal, etc.) Currently, over 2,000 companies, in 60 countries, use Lassalle Technologies products.

Abstraction Systems
Established in 2000, Abstraction Systems is dedicated to the development of reliable high quality .NET components and applications. Since its foundation, the company has been providing consulting services and developing component-based software systems for large Swiss companies from the financial and industrial sector. The acquired know-how developing components for large scaled two- and three-tiered systems is now also used to create components for the component market. ToolTipsFactory for .NET is the first result of this diversification and more will follow. The idea for this first commercial component came about because many of the hundreds of users using our systems were complaining about the tool tips being too small and the content too limited to be of much use.
