One runtime license is required per server machine running the generated API, per year.

AlchemyJ Studio Enterprise Edition License is licensed on an annual subcription basis and is required per developer workstation. APIs created with AlchemyJ Enterprise Edition require AlchemyJ Server Runtime License to run on non-developer workstations such as a server. Licenses are bounded by an Entity ID. AlchemyJ Server Runtime License can run APIs generated by an AlchemyJ Studio Enterprise Edition License with the same Entity ID only.

Both AlchemyJ Studio Enterprise Edition License and AlchemyJ Server Runtime License are tied to a machine. They are not transferable between machines without the permission of Axisoft.

Licensing Examples:

• A customer with 1 developer workstation to generate APIs and deploy them to 2 servers will require: 1 Studio License and 2 Server Runtime Licenses.
• A customer with 5 developer workstations to develop and generate APIs and deploy them to 4 servers will require: 5 Studio Licenses and 5 Server Runtime Licenses.
• A customer with 1 developer workstations to develop and generate APIs and run the API on the same developer workstation will require: 1 Studio License.

Please note that AlchemyJ Studio Enterprise Edition only supports Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. It does not work on Windows Servers and non-Windows operating systems. Users cannot purchase a Studio license for running the APIs on a server.
