ThermalLabel SDK provides .NET label design and printing for all Zebra Thermal Printers supporting ZPL® or ZPL II® (Zebra Programming Languages) or EPL (Eltron Programming Language).

ThermalLabel SDK provides a flexible programming object model which lets you write less code for designing and printing labels. It allows you to create ONE label and print it to either ZPL or EPL printers getting the SAME output printing! ThermalLabel SDK will let you to create from simple to complex layouts without efforts writing pure .NET code in VB or C#.

ThermalLabel SDK supports Texts, Barcodes, Graphics and Images, and Shapes like circles, ellipses, rectangles, and lines; generating native ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) or EPL (Eltron Programming Language) commands. Printing job is fast and you get best performance.

Advanced Barcode Support

ThermalLabel SDK supports most popular Linear (1D), Postal & 2D Standards/Symbologies including Code 39, Code 128, GS1-128, GS1 DataBar (RSS-14), EAN 13 & UPC A, Postal (USPS, British Royal Mail, Australia Post, DHL, etc.), Data Matrix, QR Code, PDF 417, UPS MaxiCode, Micro QR Code, ALL EAN/UPC Composite Barcodes (CC-A, CC-B & CC-C) and many more. You won't need to acquire additional third-party barcode generation which means you save money! ThermalLabel SDK supports 71 Linear/1D & Postal Barcodes as well as 24 2D Barcode Symbologies.

.NET Data Binding, Counters & Data Masking Support

ThermalLabel SDK was designed considering .NET Data Binding scenarios which means you can bind text and barcode items to .NET data sources. It provides support for most common data types used in data binding scenarios like Arrays, Lists, DataSets, Custom Objects, etc.

In addition, ThermalLabel SDK provides native Counter and Data Masking support for texts and barcodes! This is done by just setting up basic properties on TextItem and BarcodeItem objects to the counter or masking rule. Counters and Masks are useful for scenario like "print 100 labels for barcodes ranging from ABC001 to ABC100"

XML Label Template Support

ThermalLabel SDK features XML Template i.e. you can instruct a ThermalLabel object for exporting or importing the label definition in XML text formatting. By invoking a simple class method you can get a string representation of the thermal label in XML format allowing you to save it in any kind of data source be it SQL Server Database, file on disk, and so on. In the same way, you can restore the thermal label definition from a XML Template by just invoking a simple class method as well.

Print Orientation Support

Most Thermal Printers do not support Print Orientation feature. ThermalLabel SDK fills that gap by providing you Portrait and Landscape print orientation with 90, 180 & 270 degrees rotation

Preview and export labels to images and PDF documents

ThermalLabel SDK allows you to preview and export/save the output label content to most popular raster image formats as well as Adobe PDF documents. The supported image formats are BMP (Bitmap), GIF (Graphics Interchange Format), JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group), PNG (Portable Network Graphics), and TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) including multi-page TIFF file.

This allows you to work on your .NET developments without the need of having a physical thermal printer for testing.

Printing multiple labels per row on media roll support

Thermal printers do not provide a built-in mechanism for printing on media rolls featuring more than one single label per row (a.k.a. multi-column printing support). ThermalLabel SDK provides this feature out-of-the-box allowing you to print any number of labels per row.

Native Printer Font approach now used with TextItem and BarcodeItem objects - The SDK provides three TrueType font files (*.ttf) which abstract ZPL/EPL built-in fonts and boost printing performance. These TrueType fonts are needed to simulate the built-in fonts when rendering the output label to PDF documents or image files only, and for editing TextItem or BarcodeItem objects on the ThermalLabelEditor component

Native Barcode Engine approach used with BarcodeItem objects - Generate barcode symbols by using primitive built-in ZPL and EPL commands based on barcode algorithms. It greatly reduces the amount of ZPL/EPL bytes sent to the printers when comparing it to the same output generated by the graphic approach

Added the PrintAsGraphic property to Item-derived classes - This new property is to bypass the "Native" features and use the graphic engine for rendering
