Syncfusion Essential DocIO features an extensive range of functionality, including support for formatting and customizing content, mail merge, inserting tables, bookmarks, protecting a document, working with streams, inserting headers and footers, and much more. This .NET library features a full-fledged object model similar to the Microsoft Office COM libraries. Syncfusion Essential DocIO does not use COM interop and is available with full 100% C# source code. Included with every license is a one-year subscription for unlimited technical support and updates.

• Native Silverlight Support
  Essential DocIO now provides native support for Silverlight, which runs inside the client browser and is compatible with Word (97-2003) documents. Manipulation occurs completely from the client side without any server-side interactions or external dependencies.
• Performance Improvements
  Essential DocIO now offers significant improvement in performance during the generation and manipulation of large documents, document cloning, and mail merge.
• Improved Word to PDF Conversion
  This version of Essential DocIO adds improved support for converting Word documents to PDF documents with enhanced support for text, table formatting, and the preservation of a table of contents. It improves the conversion accuracy of a Word document that contains paragraphs with formatting, or tables with styles, as a PDF document.
