Creating InterBase BLOB fields with dbExpress Driver.

dbExpress Driver is a database-independent layer that defines a common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers. For each supported server, it provides a driver as an independent library that implements the common dbExpress Driver interfaces for processing queries and stored procedures. dbExpress Driver provides high performance database connectivity and is easy to deploy. dbExpress drivers are available for Windows as dynamic-link libraries. When you deploy a database application that uses dbExpress Driver you need only include a DLL with the application files you build.
