oXygen XML Editor V12.2 released

New Palette View offers quick access to XML Schema components allowing you to drag and drop them into the design page.

oXygen XML Editor provides the tools for XML authoring, XML conversion, XML Schema, DTD, Relax NG and Schematron development, XPath, XSLT, XQuery debugging, SOAP and WSDL testing. oXygen XML Editor includes integration with the XML document repositories via WebDAV, Subversion and S/FTP protocols. oXygen XML Editor has also support to browse, manage and query native XML and relational databases. oXygen XML Editor is also available as an Eclipse IDE plugin, bringing unique XML development features to this widely used Java IDE. oXygen XML Editor offers Multi language support for English, German, French, Italian and Japanese. oXygen XML Editor also includes Spell checking supporting English, German and French including locals.

Updates in V12.2

• Along with in context validation support provided by validation scenarios, it is now also possible to edit XML Schema modules in context-aware mode
• New Palette view allows you to easily create new schema components by dragging them from the Palette view into the diagram
• Support for xml-model processing instructions for schema associations, replacing the <oXygen/> specific processing instructions
• Ant integration - support for Ant transformation scenarios allows executing a target from an Ant script
• For XSLT 2.0 and XQuery transformations it is possible to specify parameter values as XPath expressions when the engine allows that
• New EPUB validation by integrating EpubCheck, editing and validation for specific EPUB file types as well as a number of general enhancements for working with archive-based formats.
• Visual authoring improvements in change tracking, table editing, transformations to new target formats and new API additions
• The integrated Subversion client includes improved Repository view, offering a new design, better action workflows and optimized repository access
• Many of the <oXygen/> components have been updated
