Dynamic Web TWAIN releases new Add-ons

Dynamic Web TWAIN is a TWAIN scanning SDK specifically optimized for Web applications. You can control any TWAIN compatible device (scanner, digital camera or capture card) via a Web page and acquire images, edit and then upload them to a Web server or databases.

Updates in V8.0

• New add-on Barcode (1D) supports 1D barcode recognition
• New add-on Barcode (2D) supports 2D barcode recognition
• New add-on OCR (Optical Character Recognition) performs OCR on documents in different languages and converts them to searchable text and PDFs
• GetImageXResolution and GetImageYResolution method to read the resolution from the scanned image(s)
• SetDPI method to Change DPI (dots per inch) for the specified image
• ShowFileDialog method and OnGetFilePath event shows the "save file dialog" and "open file dialog" respectively
• AllowPluginAuthentication property enables plugin to send authentication requests
• BlankImageCurrentStdDev property returns current standard deviation of pixels in an image
• MagData and MagType properties to read magnetic data from scanners
