I am currently in the process of evaluating activePDF Suite and would like a techincal query answered if you can :

1. Creating a PDF on the fly with editable fields (and prepopulated). ===============================================

While I know its is possble to create a PDF on the fly with database data etc, can activePDF create a PDF which contains editable PDF regions? i.e. I have a user who creates an HTML form in a Web Editor and uses special notation for where they want say <%firstname%>. I would like to take this HTML, generate a PDF, populate <%firstname%> with a value in the database and have the newly created value as an editable field so they user can edit if they wish...



Is this possible? Do you have any examples of this? The docs and

examples

are all geared toward VBSCRIPT (we are using ColdFusion MX 6.1).



We have a few other requirements such as dynamic generation of PDF from a resultset and taking whats on screen to a PDF - both of which I know are possible and have seen in action.



It's the creation of the editable PDF which I am most interested in at this stage.



Any help you can give me here would be great.
