Advanced suite of user interface controls for ASP.NET AJAX. ComponentArt Web.UI for ASP.NET AJAX is built on ComponentArt's client-side rendering technology and delivers fast, lightweight and feature-rich user interfaces that often exceed the richness and responsiveness of desktop applications. The suite features a wide range of AJAX techniques, including the new client-side binding with web services. All controls are built on the client-side component model introduced by ASP.NET AJAX, exposing JavaScript APIs that allow full client-side programmatic control over any part of the user interface. ComponentArt Web.UI controls are designed for and have been tested with all modern browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera and Safari.

Overview

ComponentArt Web.UI suite is built on top of ComponentArt's innovative web user interface technology. Rather than using the standard technique of rendering HTML markup through server-side code and sending that content down to the browser, ComponentArt Web.UI controls are designed to generate JavaScript storage arrays containing the minimum data and style information required to display a user interface element. JavaScript logic is then used to generate all the required HTML markup (or DOM elements) on the client.

ComponentArt Web.UI 2008 for ASP.NET currently includes 22 components.

ComponentArt Calendar for ASP.NET

An Integrated Calendar and date picker, ComponentArt Calendar supports a variety of date and date-range selection types, without requiring postbacks for month paging or date selections.
